I tried so very hard not to get myself sucked into the latest exciting clothing trend, better known as LuLaRoe.
Have you heard of it?
The LuLaRoe company is where consultants, (better known as the people who have been taking a portion of my paycheck lately) sell super comfy, affordable and stylish clothing through pop-up in home shows or online via social media.
Many people connect LuLaRoe with the funky and fun patterned super soft leggings that they were first known for, but let me tell you that they offer so many more fabulous fashions that sometimes I can’t even keep up with their fast-moving and stylish trend train. I call it a trend train because LuLaRoe has created a must have fashion culture surrounding their clothing by limiting the availability of patterns, sizes and styles, which by the way is genius on their part. I like this way of selling fashions because it is rare to see two people wearing the same patterns (unless you are purposely twinning). There is always a constant flow of new and fresh clothing for customers to buy and consultants aren’t even sure what patterns they will receive in each shipment. Surprise!
The first LulaRoe item that I ever tried on and immediately purchased, was the Amelia dress. The Amelia dress is a stylish, short-sleeved, stretchy knit fabric dress that has, wait for it, POCKETS. Pockets are my best friend when wearing dresses or skirts, so I instantly snatched up a floral pattern on a neutral background Amelia dress, and it has all gone downhill (for my wallet) since then.
Like I said before I tried, I really did.
I tried to resist the temptation of looking through the photos of clothing each and every time that someone would add me to another LuLaRoe Facebook group.
I tried to resist going to my friends homes to support them when they started to sell LuLaRoe clothes, but I guess I was not strong enough, because now I am hooked!
Now it is time for me to share with you 5 Things I Love About Being On The LuLaRoe Trend Train:
1. I am now a member of at least a bazillion Facebook groups of consultants that are selling LuLaRoe clothing. – It’s all about supporting small businesses right?
At this point I think I have had a piece of LuLaRoe clothing shipped to me from almost every state (the obsession just got real).
2. I absolutely can not get off of the LuLaRoe trend train (and I am not sure that I want someone to help me get off yet).
I feel like I always need to know what new up and coming style or pattern they are debuting next, so I can keep my wardrobe fresh and unique (or at least that is what I tell myself).
3. Printed leggings have now become an actual staple in my wardrobe.
4. Their clothing is so SUPER soft and comfortable that you can often find me wearing a piece of LuLaRoe clothing all day long, and then crashing after a long day and falling asleep in them as well. (I mean who doesn’t love clothes that can perform double duty?)
My husband can attest to the fact that he has woken up the next morning to me proudly wearing the same LuLaRoe Madison skirt and Sarah cardigan that I wore the previous day. Hey, I told you before that I will literally live in a dress or skirt that has pockets.
5. I now want to buy a few more pairs of brightly colored Tieks to go with all of my unique LuLaRoe clothing.
I love the fact that my most favorite flats seem to pair up way to well with all of my LuLaRoe clothing. I can wear my Tieks with everything from a LuLaRoe Amelia dress to a LuLaRoe perfect tee and leggings.
This is just one fashion obsession happily lending its hand to another.

For me it is definitely a tie between the Madison skirt and the Carly dress.
Happy shopping and happy “Roeing”!
