I have some exciting information that I have been dying to share ever since I recently spent an afternoon at my local Xfinity store.
The exciting news has much to do with the fact that Comcast has and will continue to evolve, grow and change the way we communicate and interact, all in fabulously positive ways of course.
Let me first start out by saying that if you have yet to visit an Xfinity store I must let you know that they are visually stunning plus interactive. Do yourself a favor and head over to your nearest location as soon as possible.
The second thing that I need to inform you of is that the staff within the Xfinity store is not only extremely knowledgeable, but they are also top-notch when it comes to customer service. These are two huge pluses already in my book, especially when it comes to things like communication and technology, which at times can feel overwhelming.
My family and I are long time Comcast customers and I have to admit I was shocked to learn about some of the exciting new ways that Xfinity changed the way we communicate.
There are things that my home cable and wifi are capable of that I was unaware of and unfamiliar with, yet I had the power to use all along.
4 Exciting Ways Xfinity Changed The Way We Communicate
Xfinity Mobile is Comcast’s newest and very exciting wireless service that puts the customer in control.
The goal is to provide customers with a better wireless experience for less money.
There are no surprises, only simple and straightforward data options that include up to five lines with unlimited nationwide talk and text, no line access fees and 100MB of shared data. Plus you can mix-and-match your families’ data plan – either pay by the gig or go unlimited for one set price.
Let me tell you that as the mother of a teenager, the ability to have no surprises when it comes to our mobile bill would be a very welcomed thing.
I am a huge fan of the fact that they already offer the most current wireless devices (yes, even including the brand new iPhone 8 and iPhone 8plus).
2. Xfinity X1
Xfinity X1 will definitely change your whole overall TV experience, in the best ways possible. Thanks to Xfinity integrated apps like Netflix and YouTube, that makeup or DIY tutorial, clips from your favorite TV shows, musical videos, recipes and more can easily be accessed by simply speaking into the X1 voice remote.
3. Xfinity xFi
Xfinity xFi is an all new personalized wifi experience that is unlike anything I have seen before. While sitting within the Xfinity store I downloaded the free xFi app to my iPhone, once I learned about all that it can do.
Think of Xfinity xFi like a digital dashboard as it allows you to find your WiFI password, check and see what devices are connected to the network at any given time, monitor activity, help defend your network and much, much more.
My favorite “parental feature” of the Xfinity xFi is that now we can really ensure a tech free dinner when I instantly pause wifi access for everyone in our home, with the simple touch of a button on my phone.
CBS Sports Digital is literally a game changing feature that both my husband and son are beyond excited about. I had the opportunity to see this feature in action while at the Xfinity store and its pretty amazing.
CBS Sports Digital is a fantasy football experience that is available on the X1 platform where viewers are able to access their CBS Sports Fantasy League standings, weekly matchups and team performance on the same screen as live games.
Fantasy football players will feel like they are a part of the game day action as they can even check specific players current and long-term stats, plus see what the weather will be like at game time.
With so many exciting products and features that only aim to help make life easier, there is no better time than right now to be a Comcast/Xfinity customer.
